General Cycling Discussion - Any interest in another BF jersey buy?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Ok here is the deal...I have lost weight since the last time we ordered BF jerseys and now have 2 that are too big for me. I like them though so I would love to get more which I think me mean a new order...which stinks because I want a BF Texas jersey as well as the last BF jersey.

Who would be interested in getting another order together?

Original BF design from 2005 (yes I know there was a BF jersey before this one):

Well I am contacting Champ Sys to see if they still have our artwork...that will be the easiest thing here. I will see if I can dig up the threads of old to get something to post here.

Ok so first post updated with the jerseys I am thinking of ordering...we have ordered these before so CHamp Sys should have the artwork and that should allow us to place a smaller order.

LOL yea...that isn't my design and now that you mention it that was brought up when it was originally posted. We would of course get that fixed.

I have no clue on other states...well not totally true...I know there was a So Cal jersey made. Honestly my goal here is to replace jerseys I have gotton too small for...a re-order of designed ordered in the past (ok so yea I did throw one new one in there). You may want to check in the regional NY forum to see if they did a jersey.

Do you have a cost estimate yet?

Grasschopper
07-30-08, 01:49 PM
Cost will be $55...we will need 10 orders...lets assume I cover 1-2 of those.

$55 covers the cost of the jersey plus paypal fees and shipping to the buyer. This is about how much the other orders have been (actually less than the TX Jersey originally cost).

I could use a new TX jersey too.

I would want a Texas Jersey.

Grasschopper
07-30-08, 03:58 PM
Also when I said $55 that was for a jersey not a full kit...just want to be clear there.

I guess I am putting an order together...I need to get full clarification from Champ Sys on the min order but I think we can do as few as 5 of each of the older designs and would need 10 of the new design...that assumes I am reading their order policy correctly.

I don't think the 5 of the older designs will be an issue as I want one of each so that leaves 4 of each. The newer design could be an issue...I know of 2 for sures so that would leave 8...seems pretty doable.

When I have the full details I will post a new thread so stay tuned...Joe or another mod...is this folder good or should I do this in the Group Buy folder?

I'd get in on these, but being from AZ I just can't go with the Texas one.

Ahh the size question...this is from the champ-sys web site (http://www.customcyclewear.com/sizechart.htm):

About Our Sizing - Please Read This First

Men's jerseys are available in "race cut" and "club cut". Click here (http://www.champ-sys.com/blank_no_title.asp?SPID=74059&Title=race+cut+club+cut&OrgID=1521)for a more detailed explanation of each.

All our garments are based on our jerseys and short patterns. Keep in mind that outer layer garments like vests and jackets are designed to be worn over other garments so when in doubt order a size up. For skinsuits and tri suits, we suggest ordering the same size as your short. There are no size issues for our arm/knee/leg warmers and gloves so order the same size you normally wear.

If you have already begun the ordering process and have submitted a deposit we suggest you request sizing samples to ensure a proper fit. Remember, for custom orders there are no exchanges so take the time to make sure you are ordering the size you need. Email you assigned Champion System Sales Rep to request a size sample order form.

Men's Race Cut Jerseys

XS S M L XL XXL XXXL
Chest (inches) 36 38 40 42 44 46 48

Men's Club Cut Jerseys

XS S M L XL XXL XXXL
Chest (inches) 38 40 42 44 46 48 51

Notes:

Only men's jerseys are available in "race" and "club" cut. Use the "race cut" measurements for all jackets, vests and skinsuits.
Since jackets and vests are typically worn over another item we suggest ordering a size up for the garments if you are between sizes.

I will be doing the shipping...all of the jerseys will come to me and I will distribute them. add $5 for Canada and if you go here: http://www.customcyclewear.com/sizechart.htm And scroll down there is a woman's size chart as well.

Sounds good! I'd need a women's Medium. Thanks!

(I only have 1 "real" jersey with stuff printed on it... 2 plain ones and a bunch of wicking t-shirts make up the rest of my wardrobe).

I like the older BikeForums design best, but the blue/yellow one is pretty sharp too. I just like gears a lot :)

interested here as well - mens L or XL.

never bought one so I'm hoping the fit is right. I wear a normal M in tshirt sizes so I'm thinking a L or XL should fit right.
