Hi everyone,

Just started (couple of months ago) commuting to work. Depending on the route I take it can be anywhere from 8 miles to about 12. Some pretty good hills involved. So far, so good... feeling great!

Bike is a Trek FX 7.5.

Hello leadchucker, where exactly are you? My husband is from Browns Valley, and his mother and father were both born in Hammonton.

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

I'm down near Placerville... commute from Cameron Park to El Dorado Hills.

Better to bike commute than to be flying, what with fuel prices...

Sounds like yo're familiar with Cameron Parks airport/subdivision!? Afraid that's way outside my lifestyle!

Yes, I've heard of the CP air estates--I imagine even those folks aren't flying their planes quite everywhere anymore  .
