And I think that the lacing done on the front wheel is pretty rad. It doesn't look like it's a special rim, just looks like a deep v?
Maybe i'm stupid, I didn't really know how to search for this as I don't know the name of this kind of lacing..
thanks for the help

It's a folding rim for commuting by bus/train. Don't know who makes 'em, though.

sort of paired spoke or and incredibly stupid idea. If you want paired spoke just buy the bontragers.

looks like you fold it by pulling OUT. When riding, the force would push IN.

clearly it is a custom drilling. it says it on the rim too..

There's a wheel skewer to keep tension between the scissors, i.e., 90degrees. Remove skewer to fold (air too I guess).

Can't the tube get pinched at each of those ends that fold? Awesome idea though.

so to answer the op's question, it's the front from the velocity spartacus wheelset. it is just a deep v rim, but it's specially drilled for that wheelset, you can't just lace up a regular deep v like that. the hub is also specially designed for that lacing pattern, so you can't just lace up a regular hub like that either. very proprietary.

to someone who said they were feeling it, it's supposedly Keo Curry's newest bike as found on macaframaproductions.com
