Can anybody tell me anything about these rims - I have one on a late 80's early 90's Raleigh that i bought off eBay as a fixed gear conversion project.

Cheers

Very good box rim with double steel eyelets and a reasonably low weight. Not so aero, but light; around 460 g. in actual weight.
Very much a standard rim on a lot of racing bikes some years back (80's?). Lots of people were unhappy when Mavic discontinued this rim.
Watch out for rust on the eyelets since this may make noises when rubbing against the spokes. So remember to give the eyelets/nipples a drop of oil every year or less, depending of how corrosive a climate you live in.

This bike actually lives in London, chained up at either Euston station, or my office in the city, so probably very corrosive - mainly exhaust fumes...

Thanks for the info...

Very nice rims. I found a brand new set on Ebay 4 years ago and built them up for my Steamroller.

How much did they go for, if you don't mind me asking ?
