Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

My friend Mike (no, not my dog) will be joining us too. He'll be on a mountain bike  He's hoping the autobus isn't too fast for him. :)

Crap. I'm gonna get passed by a guy on a mountain bike. :mad:I got beaten to the finish of the Giro by a guy on a knobby-tired mountain bike, who didn't even mean to do the full century.

How do I always end up going out the night before a BF ride?
Ah well, at least the start isn't until 10:30..

Reid,
You are just too wild and crazy ... but maybe the sleep depravation will be the equalizer for the rest of us. But then again, I woke up at 5:30 am ... wtf
Damn, it's nice to not have to wake up especially early for one of these things for once. I may even have breakfast!

You are coming, right?
Yeah, but I usually have to be there by 8. :)
[edit: And I'm off. See you folks in a few hours.]

I'm a late scratch.
Bike came partially off the rack on the way down, and bent a fork dropout. :(
Have fun!

wow...that was my first time up mt hamilton.....The climb was very humbling. It makes my usual foothill expy/palo alto/woodside route look like nothing. Phew. I went through 3 gu gels, a pack of crackers and 2 bottles of water on the way up. I was hurting all the way up but it was fantastic. :) hahaha I nearly wiped out 6 times on the decent....yikes but it was fun hahah
