I had my mavic wheels trued up yesterday and I am now experiencing a noise from the rear wheel. The sound is similar to when you tighten a spoke too tight, kind of like a creak. I was wondering if this noise is happening because I just had them trued and the spokes need to settle in place after being tightened or should this noise not be happening at all? Any input will be appreciated.

Ur LBS gave the job to a summer intern (and didn't check his work!).
Hopefully it will settle.

The noise is probably due to spoke wind up and lack of stress relieving. I probably would go back to the LBS and get them to do it right.

+1 The spokes just need to settle.
Be easy.. if the spokes don't stop ping-panging after a couple of curb hops then take them in.
