Biking has been in the news (Omaha World Herald) several times lately. In no particular order... .

The new pedestrian bridge over the Missouri River will open about a month early.

Finally, my favorite: An article about 82-year-old Earl Norman who has just completed a 2800+ mile tour on his folding bike. He makes a trek every year it seems. Perhaps there is hope yet for the rest of us.

For some reason the OWH loves stories about conflict on the trails. They weren't much interested in this though:

News organizations all love stories about conflicts. It's the nature of the beast.

I believe this survey was conducted again this summer. Presumably, we will see another such report next March.
