I just recently moved to Colorado, and have been biking for only a couple months now, and have become hopelessly addicted to it. I prefer road biking but also enjoy mountain biking, except I can not seem to get through 1 day of mountain biking without a crash, my record is two crashes, 5 minutes and 100 yards apart. The only reason it took 5 minutes was because I spent 4 minutes walking off the first crash. Ive logged only 800 or so miles so total, mostly on the roads, so by most of your standards I am pretty inexperienced, although I fall very well I think.

Welcome to the forums. If you aren't crashing on a MTB, are you really having fun anway? Crashing on the roadie, not so much fun though.

Hello RideCo--why do you hate gravity? That's what makes mountain biking fun!

Welcome to BF, and feel free to PM me with any questions :) !

The reason I hate gravity is because it is constantly foiling my plans, the ones that have me remaining behind the handlebars :) Not true in every case, my worst crash was caused by something breaking on my bike, they call it 'traction'
