Can anyone recommend a bike store that stocks good U locks in Melbourne?
I'm really after an OnGuard mini Bulldog or Pitbull, or a Kryptonite mini.
So far can only find them in online stores and shipping costs to Australia are pretty high.
Trying to work out if local bike store prices are any better than buying online and shipping.

Yeah the Kryptonite Mini is available at Anaconda (I saw it in the Mentone store). Problem is its 120 dollars which is funny to think about because in US its like a 1/3 of that price. I bought mine on ebay for 30 dollars and 35 dollars postage. This is of course a lot to pay for postage but its still twice as cheap.

Forget it, the markup on accessories is huge here. Either go online, or get a middle-of-the range lock and a forged chain for extra security. You can get good padlocks and chain for reasonable prices. I carry the D lock on the bike and leave a heavy chain at work.
