This is intended to be more of a blog than anything else, however all comments welcome.
I bought over the internet a used Paramount frame, series PDG OS made of tig welded Tange road os seamless db tubing, made for 650C wheels.
However I have no intrest in mounting up 650C (571 erto) wheels.
Turns out a 26 (erto 559) wheel with a 1.25 tire clears the fork easy and short reach brake calipers just reach the rim. The Matrix 1.6 tire I tried is just wide enough to rub the sides of the fork, seems to me their are many great road tires that will fit and with my weight a much better match than any 650c or many 700c tires.
