pulling off my lockring is impossible. It's from a bianchi pista (which I believe uses shimano dura-ace track hubs) and I just can't get it off using the park tool lockring hook spanner (HCW-12). I've tried both ways (mostly assuming clockwise) to no avail. help?

I once used a heatgun to loosen a lockring which has not been removed in 30 years. Loosening the cog was another story....I ended up removing the axle, bearings and grease and torching the hub to knock the cog loose. No damage...
