General Cycling Discussion - Are there hot deals for international flights?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Because I can't seem to find any off my usual websites that normally give me good deals. I was planning a trip to Europe at the end of the month, and either the deals have dried up, or I need to hold out a little longer until airlines get desperate to sell tickets and slash the prices.
Anyone know of any good sites? I've already tried smarterliving.com, orbitz.com, expedia.com, and travelocity.com and they're all coming up with the same ticket prices.

Those are the same sites I usually check. I do get the USAir e-saver e-mails that are good for a long weekend. those are hit and miss and usually a last minute type of thing.
I think US Air is doing a deal where if you get two tickets to NYC or Cali they'll give you one to anywhere in the world, check it out.
I'll check US Air.
Cheaptickets didn't come through. :( The other site Joe gave is good for those round the world tickets, though. I'm going to hold onto that one for now and use it when I decide to take a trip with multiple stops.
Thanks so far!

This should be a good time to get cheap tickets because the flying does not pick up until late spring.

have you tried www.travelzoo.com ?
Thanks for the other recommendations. Actually, I'm really impressed with travelzoo, and I'm going to see what the ticket prices are there too.

I just saw an ad from British Airways - round trip from NYC to London for $200. But thats just an ad...
I would keep trying - prices change every day.
Good luck.
Yeah, I see that. Every time I go to BA, they keep quoting me a really high price.
I may just end up doing a last minute thing and not really making any plans until after I get my trip. It's a pain, but it looks like everyone's holding out until the bitter end. All the deals that are low priced are based out of the east coast, which sucks. As soon as you add in the Chicago start destination, the price goes up a few hundred bucks. :(

AA had a one day sale Atlanta to Germany for $272 round trip. I do not know where they post these but I think you can get information on them from www.clarkhoward.com. Good luck.
