I want to start a revolution with BMX choppers.
Anyone out there build these things?
I tried tinkering with them sometime 2 years ago with beatup BMX bikes I would find on trash night. I would take the cheapo suspension fork from a 26" MTB (i.e. Huffy) and put it on the 20" BMX Mongoose bike.
With the laid back seat it bike looked dope.
Too bad I had to give the bike up when I moved. I gave it to some kid, but he wouldn't take it since he grandma thought that I had somehow stolen it!!! It was understandable though since when I got the bmx frame the bike was sprayed painted black with cheap Krylon paint.
Next time I build one of these, I want to weld some cantilever bosses on the front suspension for more braking power.
