Picked up the Big Dummy 18" frame from my local bike shop yesterday. They said the order of 18"s sold out right away again, so I feel fortunate to have gotten it this time around. Just finished my Pugsley build earlier this week and love it. I can't wait to get the rest of the build kit next week for the Big Dummy and get it built.

I'm going to go with the Big Apple 2.0s, as they seem to be a good compromise for plenty of wheel clearance. Unfortunately the local shop can't get the xtracycle kit until late August, so it won't be in full force until then.

My build will be nothing special, especially compared to the awesome big dummys you both have. I just want to get started with a nice platform to see how I like it. I'm planning on getting rid of my truck this December (lease, thank goodness) and relying primarily on bicycle transportation. I already have a Burley Nomad and B.O.B. Ibex that I like for different applications, but I am expecting the Big Dummy to top them both for the majority of my utility needs.

Thanks to both of you for your great BD resources. It's not only informational but inspirational as well.

P.S. Check out the blog link for a picture of me on the Pugsley. I can't wait for it to snow. :)
