Bicycle Mechanics - Shimano 600 Pedals bearing size?

does anyone happen to know the size bearings Shimano 600 Pedals take? i'm looking to order a variety or replacement bearings for a complete bike overhaul and i've done a ton of searches on BF and google. i've seen pedals that take 5/32," 1/8", or 3/32"?

thanks, that makes sense. i did a thorough cleaning and repack with fresh grease awhile back but thought i'd order back up bearings since i'm ordering all the others at the same time. i'll probably just wait and see if the headset bearings i order are the same fit...

Bearings for the 600EX headset (HP-6207, with the "starfish"
lockring\adustable cup) are 3/16", a bit bigger than, say,
the Shimano 105 headset bearings (5/32"). The 600EX has
20 bearings per cage.

I can't remember the sizes or numbers of the 600EX caged
bottom bracket bearings but your LBS should be able to look
them up in Southerlands... and the pedal bearings too for
that matter.

One of my twin daughters bikes in Prospect Park. Her boyfriend
tries to keep up on his skateboard. I got him on an '87
Centurion LeMans RS when he was down for a visit a couple
of weeks ago and he loved it. I expect he'll have a vintage
bike soon. :-)

thanks for the info about the 600 headset bearings. that helps a lot. my girlfriends dave scott centurion has that exact headset so i'll get the 3/16". and my RB-1 has a 105 headset so i'll get the 5/32" for that. every BB i've ever encountered has used 1/4" bearings 11 per side.

i just got back from a personal best 7 laps around prospect park. if you ever see a nerdy asian guy on a dark blue RB-1 or silver 3rensho give a holler and i'll try to keep up ^_^

i did search the Shimano website and tech support/tech docs but they didn't have the specs listed for those specific pedals anymore (could be too old) there were some spec PDFs on some Ultegra SPDs listing the bearings at 3/32" but they don't seem to be a similar model or construction. i'll see if one of the various bearing sizes i'm ordering fits and if not i'll have my LBS check it.
