I commute by bike everywhere and generally its pretty easy since I have a shower and lockers at work.
However, I sometimes find myself needing to haul larger items, such as hockey equipment when I play downtown. Right now I wear most of my hockey equipment while riding (shin guards, elbow pads, hockey helmet) since I have no way else to carry it. For groceries, I usually just buy what I can i my backpack meaning I have to go every day or every other day.
Im in the market for some kind of trailer that can be attached on both my road bike and mountain bike (I use both depending on the weather outside) so I can carry more than what I can fit on my back. Does anyone have any good suggestions to help make my life easier?
Thanks

BOB would probably be a good choice for your needs. Its narrow so less of a burden on roads shard by cars.

If you are on the cheap watch craigslist for kid trailers. Often see them on the cheap. Little work and you can make a decent cargo trailer out of them. I'm in the market for one right now to haul groceries home and trying to barter or sell a jogging stroller I have for one.

Check out the utility bike forum and they have a lot of trailer posts.

Just got the Burley Flatbed a few weeks ago shipped for $199: http://www.biketrailershop.com/catalog/4945-burley-flatbed-wsetup-options-from-199-p-153.html . We got two extra hitches, so it can be swapped quickly between three bikes.

I have nothing but good things to say about the Wike brand (http://www.wicycle.com/) of trailers.

You will get more respect from auto drivers when you pull a kids type trailer.
