Respond to this poll only if you ride at least 100 miles a week.

Sorry, I only ride about 60 miles a week (not counting weekends), but I get a flat every 2-3 weeks. Cheapy tyres suck. Let that be a lesson to me. :D

Last year I put 3000 miles on my Conti's with no flats! (It's way better to be lucky than good! :D )

Michelin Pro Race. Two flats on 6,800 miles of riding, and the last one was about three weeks ago when it was raining.

I also think that was the last time our temps were above freezing.

Conti sprinters, but I do take them off when using
the rollers.

I average about 1-2 flats per tire in their lifespan using Armadillos.

I use Bontrager Hard Cases on my hybrid and haven't had a flat since I changed to them 1800 miles ago.

Has anyone used the 700x25 Hard Cases? I am considering getting them on my new road bike.

Vittoria man mostely here, last year I didn't have any flats on them, but the year befor I think I may have had 1 or 2..It really comes in fits and spurts I find, like in 2001 I had 3 in that many weeks, and then I didn't have any more for the rest of the year...I have found that if I take care of the tires and keep them up to pressure and watch where/what I ride thru, I'm just fine..But then again I do buy the expensive ones, so maybe that has something to do with it..Don't know, but so far I'm having good luck..

I rode 8000+ miles last year without a flat. The year before that I had 3, all due to road debris I hit due to other riders not calling out road hazards while in a pace line.

Spring time I used Conti Gatorskins 25mm

Summer time and racing I used Michelin Pro Race 23mm

Fall/Winter I tried out a set of Vittoria All Weather 22mm tires with good results

All worked well for me but with that being said, I'm pretty picky with tire pressure and don't weigh very much. I'm also a fairly smooth rider who doesn't ride heavy and I pick good lines ( I always have going back to my mountain bike riding and racing days ).

They seem to come in spurts. Last year I had two within three weeks--both due to bad rim strips on both rims. Other times, however, since I ride on the beer-bottle highways of Arizona, punctures seem to be a draw of the cards.

had 3 or 4 flats early in the year in about 1100 miles

switched to conti gp3000 four season tires on both my bikes and have gone around 3000 miles since then without a flat

I rode all last year (~6000 miles between two bikes) with no flats. The year previously, I had two flats... on the same day and one was due to the others. I think I neglected to clean out the wound properly. Also, I was riding on tyres which had already seen 4000 miles and were in dire need of replacement. I've been using Conti GP3000s to good effect.
