well guys its a month since I started my diet and im still pretty hard core on it. I have slipped up a few times and had some bad food....but all in all im really proud of myself.

I have been using the trainer for at least 30 minutes a day and my heart rate was 170bpm for the workout and now it stays around 145bpm unless I really crank. My weight has gone down from 265 to 242 and I feel energy like I haven't in years. My pant size has gone from a 40 to a 38 and if my calculations are correct thats 2 inches. :D

I gotta say that making progress is the best motivation to stay with it....and I can't wait till it warms up and I can see how all this training translates to the road.

Congrats on the weight loss... keep it up! I started in 2002 at 220lbs and have managed to get to 190 in the begining of 2004 - My goal is to get to 175 by my birthday in June. Searching the web, I found a program called dietpower (www.dietpower.com) and have found it to be a very useful tool to assist me in shedding my last few pounds. I began using DietPower 2 weeks ago and by following the guidlines have lost 6 more pounds. Its a really helpful product.
