Anyone know if there are any good solid tires for road bikes? I'm trying to find some information on them. If I did get some they would be used for errand riding and commuting to work.
Thanks

Looks like someone would make them. Doesnt it?

solid tires are heavy and not as shock absorbing. they can damage rims because of their lack of shock absorbtion.

you can get solid tires, but as Phatman said they can damage the rims. My dad has some on his touring bike (may it rest in peace as he has not ridden the thing in over 16 years) and another problem with the tires is they are EXTREMELY slippery when wet.
If flats are a concern get a tire liner on a clincher tire, they work well, weigh less and at least you have a REAL tire under you

I found some tubeless or airless tires.
