i have an old schwin converted to ss. i want to do a front disk on it. i've been lookin around at disk only cross forks and they're all 1 1/8 i need 1" for my bike.
i've been looking for weld on disk tabs, but haven't found those either. but with aluminum forks i don't know if it'sa good idea to weld on them them and i'm not sure of another way to mount disk tabs to a fork that doesn't have them.
anyhelp would be apppreciated
How about this:

i saw that. it's a good choice. i wanted something without the v brake mounts. i guess i just want the 'look' i guess. i bet that's the best i'll be able to do though :(
i have a question about cross tires. is the smallest size 28? the wheelset that came with it had 700c x 28 and the front fork and it rubbed a lot on the fork and brake i have. i ask this because if i do the disk front wheel, i'll have to get a new front wheel, brake and the fork.
I don't know anything about this place, but they say the have this fork(Dimension) with a 1" steerer:
