I'm having some problem with my bottom bracket/crankset, but can't point out the problem. On my left pedal stroke (downward, when pressure is applied), I am getting awful clanking noises. Even when I'm at strolling speed, less than 10mph, I get it. I reinstalled and greased the pedal, but no luck. I also took the crankbolt off, regreased and tightened it. No luck either. I'm thinking the problem rests in the bottom bracket, but there is no noise coming from the right crank arm, so I'm not sure. Can anyone think of other things before I go spend money on a new BB/crankset?
