An old movie with Audrey Hepburn George Pappard and Mickey Rooney. A true classic. I don't like going to movies by myself too depressing. :(

I really really really like Gentlemen Prefer Blondes with Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell- it's an oldie but a goodie. I also really like Pillow Talk with Doris Day and Rock Hudson- I still laugh at the end when she shows him his new room and it's all tacky and in such bad taste. :D

I couldn't get into Breakfast at Tiffany's. I don't know why, that's just me, I guess.

I think I'll queue it up on the mp3 player now. :)

As for the movie, I thought it was okay... not great but I did enjoy it. I actually like a lot of the work George Peppard did in the 1960s such as The Blue Max. An interesting note is that the movie was originally written with Marilyn Monroe in mind but rumour has it her agent told her it would be detrimental to her career to play the character of a call-girl. Funny that three decades later, it was such a role that launched Julia Robert's career. My favourite cast member from the movie however is the cat. :D

Love in the Afternoon is my favorite Audrey Hepburn movie. The scene in the sauna with Gary Cooper and the Gypsy band is pure genius. Audrey of course acts with a sense of complete innocence. The movie has that sense of magic realism that is so much like love.

Not to get to ethereal, but Audrey Hepburn's acting reminds me of Ella Fitzgerald's singing; childlike in it's purity and innocence. Both women are my favorites in what they did.

Audrey and another great actor, William Holden, were married for a while, but his drinking got the best of the marriage. She acted with Holden and Bogart in another great movie. Does anyone remember the name of the movie and who got the girl in the end?

Breakfast at Tiffany's never grabbed me somehow. Audrey Hepburn was wonderful in it. I thought that George Peppard was wasted. He's very pretty but doesn't seem to give the character much depth. My favorite part of the movie is the song Moon River. It revived Johnny Mercer's career.

I agree about The Blue Max. I'd like to see that movie again.

My first guess for the movie would be Sabrina which would make Bogart's character (Linus) as the one who gets the girl.

Sabrina. Bogie got the girl. Harrison Ford was in a completely forgettable remake.

I have to say that I love Breakfast at Tiffany's... but my all time favorite Audrey movie is "Roman Holiday"... how can you go wrong with that.. Rome, Audrey, Gregory Peck, Eddy Albert as a photographer (probably another reason I dig it) you can't go wrong...

"Roman Holiday" is better than "Breakfast At Tiffany's", IMO.

I do love the Mancini score for "Breakfast At Tiffany's", though. I picked up a used LP of it recently. Very good.

Oh my gosh, that was too trippy. I clicked on this link, and the song by Deep Blue Something started playing on Winamp! Freaky!

Anyhow, I found the movie somewhat interesting, but I don't think I understood it fully. I definitely have to agree with SipperPhoto. The best Audrey Hepburn movie is Roman Holiday. Those three characters were great.
