I'm going to be staying in Toronto for around two months toward the end of the year. I could fly my bike in with me ($320 extra roundtrip) but I'm also thinking about renting a road bike for the duration of my stay. How is the rental situation for road bikes in Toronto?? Any recommendations??

How far toward the end of the year? Because the weather can get pretty miserable from November or December, and you may not want to be riding a road bike on icy or even snowy roads, especially if you are not used to it.
Having said that Cyclepath (two locations in Toronto) offer rentals on their web site at $40 a day or $120 a week, and they are a good shop. But if you rent for two months, you might as well buy a bike for the money. http://twowheeltravel.ca/index_files/Page374.htm
Another option would be to buy a used road bike on Craigs List when you arrive and sell it when you leave. Might be easier and cheaper all round.
