Iīm moving to mexico and I need a new bike. I found a 2001 Univega CB S8.3. Itīs a carbon fiber and kevlar frame. It fits me perfectly(not easy for me to find). Everything is Deore LX. It has a hardly used Marzzochi Gran Fondo 2 fork. The bikie is in great condition. Heīs asking 800 but I think I can get it for 650 or 700. Is this an OK deal? I donīt think itīs a GREAT deal but the bike fits me and itīs quality. Any opinions would be much appreciated.

Has anyone even heard of this bike? I canīt even find another picture of it online. I guess there werenīt many made. I said that it has Deore LX but it has mostly XT parts. Just from my brief description, do any of you think itīs worth the money? Carbon fiber frame, mostly XT parts, fits me perfectly, from 2001.

Anything would be appreciated.

Costco is selling the Univega brand in Mexico, but I have never seen one on the trails here in Guad.
