I just joined and was nudged to say hi. Hi! I'm from Port Angeles, and try to ride as many event rides as possible (funding, schedule allowing). My wife and I just stayed the night in Olympia this weekend and found a new trail! It's the Woodland Trail that hooks up with the Western Chehalis Trail. Talk about serendipity! It was too cool and way less noise than the I-5 Trail. We're still waiting for the Western Chehalis Trail crossing of Pacific Ave but were glad to ride something neat and new. You GO Olympia!

That Woodland Trail is pretty nice-what's finished of it. The western leg, From Eastside Ave, dumps you out onto some gnarly traffic, though, so watch out. Oly's pretty good for bikes-lots of bike shops, two active co-op/free clinics, and all types of bikes and riders to ogle. Welcome to the area!
