Fifty Plus (50+) - Christmas Gift ... but for whom???

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I came across this book the other day and thought it would make an excellent Christmas gift ... but for whom? A person's shadowy figure flitted around in the back of my mind, but I couldn't quite make out who it was. I know there is someone out there, perhaps even someone here in 50+, for whom this would be the perfect gift.

I have enough useless Xmas gifts given to me over the years and even have a few I gave the wife that are also in a cupboard somewhere.
So in case the wife is reading this- Or either of my daughters- just take me to the LBS and say take your pick. Or you may get a book on Flower arranging again- or the Expresso coffee maker that only makes a thimble full at a time.

No, no, I'm sure the perfect person isn't stapfam. No question about it.
That's one candidate eliminated.

Juicing is for belly busted wimps.

DG!
Why of course!
Mr. "I Juice" himself. The Jack LaLanne of our generation.
The guy looking to reduce his belly size.
What could be more on target than "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Juicing?" A true match made in heaven.

Juicing is something I really keep trying to get myself into. So far, I just haven't been able to dredge up enough time to stay with it. Amazing how hard those few minutes can be to come up with, sometimes.

My truck is full of useless stuff that is going to the St. Vincent Depaul resale shop. No doubt some of it a Christmas gift to someone.
Question: Why can't you buy Watermelon Juice?

Nope!
I was eating Watermelon that was pre-sliced, and I drank the juice in the container when I was done.
and...
I liked it! They should bottle it!

There's watermelon-flavored gum.

A company named Sundia sold watermelon juice for a while, then dropped it due to lack of sales. I believe it can sometimes be found in organic food stores, usually fresh refrigerated.

We get our watermelon juice in these big green containers sold at every grocery store and numerous roadside stands and trucks parked alongside the roads. Many people grow them in their back yards. They call them watermelons.

Yah...those are the most poorly designed containers ever. Besides being too big, having no handle, and being impossible to open OR reseal without a special tool, they don't fit in the fridge door, and they're hard to bring back from the store on your bike.

Down in Georgia they like to drill those boys and fill 'em with vodka.
