Bicycle Mechanics - bottom bracket tool

my bottom bracket damged my new frame, and was forced to buy the folloing part http://www.biketoolsetc.com/index.cgi?id=396651798543&d=single&c=Components&sc=Bottom-Brackets&tc=Cartridge/Taper-Spindle&item_id=YS-BB99368127 i got it on the mail a couple of days ago the only problem ps that i need the right tool to install it,,, i went already to 3 bike stores and they don't carry it does anybody knows where on the internet i can get it,,, i am prety sure some one has bought this item before,,, thanks in advanced for all your help...

Perhaps biketoolsetc.com would have a suggestion?

This is not correct. Don't guess. That BB thread into itself, that's how it's held in place. IIRC it takes a regular shimano bb tool.

You need two Shimano 20 spline type BB tools (eg. Park BBT-22) for these BB's. I've used a couple of these and, while they are not perfect, they work fine.

I did not lie here , I did check the OP ,use their link to biketoolsect.com and their web page does states that this bb is a press in unit , it has no treads on it and they do not state how to install this unit or what if any tool is needed to do so. maybe operator should check the link before he call anyone a lier. I m sorry for sound off here but no one seems to look at the link in the op.

What about this line of the description (from the link above) "The steel cups thread on to the steel body of the bottom bracket unit"? That sounds like both sides screw onto the middle piece to me (ie not pressed in).

According to the late Sheldon Brown, the BB shell needs to be beveled using the same tool used for old Mavic bottom brackets. He also said that Harris Cyclery stopped selling the YST BB due to reliability issues.
