My friend and fellow Tranision rider Kyle Thomas (remember Drop In's 'Be a DirtBag' Contest?) is up in Whistler this summer and posted some shots of a gnar crash he took up there the other day. He's banged and bruised and has a broken toe; but managed to walk away from this close encounter with a tree:

Glad he's going to be OK.

Wow, just wow. He's a lucky man, you usually don't walk away from things like that with naught but a broken toe. I had a similar thing happen the other day, but I'm sure I wasn't going near as fast as he was.

The picture of the broken pedal stuck in the tree is freakin' awesome. Hope he's not hurt too bad. Pretty lucky he was able to walk away from that...
