I have a very annoying squeak in the front hub of my Fulcrum 5's. Anything I can do to cure it or do I need to let a shop handle it?

does it have those rubber seals on each side? if so lubing them would be the first thing i would try

Or cut them off, thats what the shop did to my rear wheel and I haven't heard a peep since.

Cut off the seals? Doesnt sound like a good idea.

Excellent advice! Many new bikes come with rubber seals that are dry and, as a result, squeak. Just pry them out a tad with a small screwdriver and put a couple of drops of lube. I use TriFlow or ExtraDry. End of problem ;-)))

At least with my bike, they were purely cosmetic, see this post: Rear Wheel Noise (http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=445689&highlight=)

I assume the same goes for the front wheel.
