Here's the challenge. I'm looking for a safe route from the corner of Sublett and Matlock in Arlington to the intersection of 360 and Broad st in Mansfield. It can't use Matlock, Sublett, or Green Oaks. Anyone up to the challenge?

This is about the best I could come up with:

It does put you on Matlock for about a mile.
Now, if you are willing to carry your bike across a utility pipe, you can shave a few miles and skip Matlock with this route and then cross the creek/river here:

Of course, this you would have to do a little re-con work to see if you can legally get to that pipe. Judging from the path that goes from the pipe over to 360, a lot of people use this route. However, from the aerial photos, it looks like there might be a gate across the road before you get there.
Good luck and be careful.

Well done. But that looks more like about 200 yards - not a mile, and it could be ridden through the parking lot next to Matlock.

Actually, I was talking about the little jaunt onto Matlock, south of Country Club Dr. :)
Yep, that creek is a natural barrier to where you wanna go.
Your option is either Matlock or the monstrous shoulders of 360 from Southwind to Broad.
