I just bought a se lager and I want to convert it a fixed and it has a flip flop hub. I want to get a 16t cog and I see they come in two sizes, 16t x 1/8" and 16t x 3/32" . So my question is how do I know what size to get?

3/32.

1/8 is for a thick chain, your bike has a 3/32 chain.
