I found a Bosch 36V 2 aH Li-Ion battery for about $75. My thinking was that I may be able to buy several of them, and given their low weight when compared to SLA's, I might be able to carry them all on board. I would only connect one at a time, and then when it was zapped I would connect the next one.

However, my question is whether or not a 2aH battery would have enough juice to power my Wilderness energy 400W brushless front hub motor for a long enough time to make the setup valid. My thinking behind this setup in the first place is based on (A) weight compared to SLAs and (B) price comparison to similar LifePo4 kits on ebay and from various sellers. Thanks for any advice or input.

Here is a picture of the battery I am referring to in case anyone is interested. It is the Bosch BAT836.

The battery would have to have an amazing C rating for it to work and then it would go about 2 miles. Go ask at endless sphere for more technical info. Often you have rip these packs open, solder the cells in parallel and make your own battery management system and low voltage cutoff circuits.
