First off, please don't nag me because I'm having this problem, but I'm losing weight at a rate that is alarming for me. I am almost 6' 2" I used to weigh 170-175 pounds in college. Last week i weighed myself and I was 151.4 lbs. I just got off the scale and it was 144.9! So...I'm now pretty solidly underweight. :(
I got diagnosed with Celiac Disease about 7 months ago, which has drastically changed my eating patterns and put me on a fairly strict diet. I don't want to explain what CD/gluten intolerance is but it's easy to google. Anyway, point being, I can only eat certain foods and because of the high price and the fact that I hardly make any money, it's hard to eat enough to maintain my now~150 lb frame, not to mention the demands that cycling puts on your body. It's frustrating to be in this catch-22, and I know people hate me because I can't maintain weight, but this is terrifying for me. I've dropped 30 pounds that I DON'T have to lose. I would eat more, but I'm honestly not hungry. When I'm hungry I eat, and I eat until I'm full, please don't think that I'm anorexic.
Are there any nutritionists around here who can recommend a 4-5,000 calorie diet for someone with CD and a limited budget? I don't care how it tastes/smells/long it takes to cook, I'm serious about gaining 5-7 pounds back and not dropping under 150 again.
