Its cold, I'm stressed. And I yearn for the open road. At this moment if I could close my eyes and be there. I would choose to be on the stretch of road just before the Sea Lion Caves on the Oregon Coast. The road is winding up the side of the mountain. And becomes narrower, yet even though it is up hill, we have stopped pedaling as the wind to our backs has taken over.
It doesn't feel like it will blow us over the edge, more of a controled, glorious push. On a very perfect day, in perfect scenery with my very perfectly wonderful son and friend. That is where I would choose to be right now.

"Its cold, I'm stressed."
Yeah I know what you mean, it is quite cold out here too.
I have this place i used to go to not that far from here. It's called Diamond view road. It is not far from the main highway, but it is really not that close to any city. As I would bike through I always admired the beauty of this land. On one side of the road it is flat farmland and on the other side of the rd. you can see the the old rolling hills of the Ottawa Valley, it is so peaceful. So many times with my friends I would travel down Diamond View Road, we would trave out to the Lanark highlands to go fishing and camping. It was never that long of a tour, a day at the most. We would either take the 100Km route Or the 100 mile route. The bonus of the 100 mile route is the hills, at least I though so in the good ole days. Those were some of the best times of my life, I wonder why I stopped doing it? Anyways I' gonna revive the tierd old cannodale, make it so it functions again and slip back into my old ways.
