On the off chance that people don't read the roadbike forum, here's the link to the thread on the recall of Keos with CroMoly axels built prior to January 2006. http://www.bikeforums.net/showthread.php?t=450408.
A Bicycle Odyssey is one of the authorized fix it shops. They have to swap out the axel, and according to Look this should take about 10 mins. The CPSC and Look recommend that you immediately stop using the pedal if you are within the parameters.

Thanks - I checked mine, and they were made after the cut-off date, so I guess they have the new and improved axle. Having that snap while working hard would really suck!

My solution to the recall. Once I get the axle on my KeO Classics replaced, I'll likely sell them.

There's also a recall on SRAM Red groupsets. You take it to redspoke and he gladly replaces it with an Ultegra triple. :p
