Road Bike Racing - Beloki pulls out

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

of the GP Marseillaise and the Etoile de Besseges due to tendonitis.
Rumor is that he developed the injury hauling his teammates around in training camp. ;)
Beloki is an idiot. They should say, "...pulled a Beloki" when someone does something stupid.
He took himself out of the TDF.
I already know who is going to be the biggest whiner this year.
Even if he got the yellow jersey, his team would die a horrible death trying to keep him in front of the peloton- and that's just on the flats! Who is going to get him food and water on the climbs?
Team time trial? How many minutes is he going to loose there?
Yup, pulled a Beloki...
Beloki never shows himself until April/May. He gets into form slowly for the big tours. His earliest success have been in the Tour of Romandie in April and the Clasica Alcobendas and the Vuelta Asturias; both in May. I would think that riding for a French team he might make a run at Paris Nice, but we'll see. Brioches also has Chavanel, who could possibly be ready for a strong Paris-Nice performance.

The maximum of two and a half minutes, thanks to the governing wusses of the Tour de France.
