I think it needs a KTM badge ;)

Oh, and some Maxxis stickers would fit right in on it - - need any? :D

Nice... Could be wrong, but I swear those M4 hardrocks are pretty much the same as pre-monostay M4 stumpjumpers (pre '06)... Bit more curve on the top tube perhaps, but...

Anyone..?

Nice bike 66!
I like the orange also.
a guy here has a Black Hifi, and he's trickin' it out with this "burnt orange anno" color for parts like the top cap, levers, and bolts and stuff like that.
he wants his spokes and nipples and all that also. It's starting to look pretty cool.

ps, I got a maxxis sticker for finishing third in a race...
want it?
LOL
j/k.
-I stuck it in the back of my jersey and it got soaked lol

I'd still like to come up with the green for a burly 17" HT with a 6" fork for all around "bussin' out". I'd do some trail time, but I'd also like to take it downtown and jump sum stuff.:)

It a super fun bike. Ijust got in from my 1st ride on it. It corners like it's on rails. I've gotta make a couple of changes,I'm gonna put a longer seat post on it and I'm changing the time pedals for a good set of platforms.

Here's a couple of pics from this morning.......

Well, I know what I want out of it, and what I want on it,and how much money I want to have in it so I'm good there. You guys feel free to chime in and give advice whenever. If I can get some advice on parts from Cheeto and some riding tips from BCIpam I should be golden.

The bike is definitely too small for you. I think you made a terrible decision. Even though I have never met you in person, I can tell that you will not be comfortable on that bike. I can't believe you had the audacity to make a decision without consulting the intertubes first. As far as petals, I can tell you which clipless you would like best. But I am not going to do so. Besides, platforms are for kids and people who need training wheels.

Yes, I said "petals". Pedals are for suckers.

Thanks for the tips. I'm gonna take it back in the morning since I have learned that Specialized sucks and that bike is flexy. I'm going to have a custom made solid steel frame built up at 20". I'm also going to have some steel plated shoes welded to the petals 'cuse I'm no sissy.

MB66-

For an upgrade, I would recommend getting the rear derailleur with the big ol' red jockey pulleys (TY-something is the model #). They're totally sick, dude.

M_S

Yeah, the red jockey pulleys would match those Avid brakes great.

Have you seen the 08 Tourney? Bling!

Yeah, and that headtube will spontaneously combust. Soon.

On a serious note, are you concerned with the frame stuff at all? IIRC, there was a member who ovalized his headtube with a 6".

No......

Did he do it with a 6" fork or a loose headset?

I've had a few rides on the new ride now 3 good ones in the last 24 hours. I find the upright position of the small frame very easy on my back. For most people my hight it really would be too small. My back gives me problems on longer rides if I'm streched out just the slightest.A big plus is on rolling flowy downhill the small bike is a freakin' blast, you can do whatever you wan't with it.It reminds me of my old BMX day many moons ago.
