Was just giving tandem a look-over to see how things are holding together, and noticed rear tire is showing much more sidewall wear than the front tire. Surface is kind of fuzzy/thready, front/new smoother rubber. I know the rear should wear more quickly, but would not expect to see it on the sidewall so much. Tread still looks OK, do you think I should replace this tire? Have attached pics of rear and front sidewalls (first one is rear, second front). Tires probably have about 1000 miles on them, Vittoria Corsa EVO CX 700x25, FYI.
At same time, also noticed brake clearance tighter than I remembered when installing rear brake. I don't think there is any way the tire would be rubbing, but the clearance is a lot tighter than same brake on my Calfee single (700x23, but more than 2mm difference).
