Clydesdales/Athenas (200+ lb / 91+ kg) - Buying Jerseys - where?

I'm looking to pickup a few jersey for some of my longer weekend rides, I have a Giordana that I got a few weeks ago and really like, but I'd like to pick some more up. Where do you folks buy them? I'd like to be able to check them out in person. Is it sporting goods stores?

In person, try Walmart. They sell generic jerseys. Ditto Target. If you want something more bike specific, I would go mail order, Nashbar or Performance.

One problem with the Walmart/Target stuff, is that most don't have any pockets, and the few that do have just a really small iPod pocket.

So if you are looking for real bike stuff new at a reasonable price, on line is your best choice.

I've bought all of my jersey's online from Primal. I've looked in my local bicycle shops, but they tend to carry only a small selection of "race cut" jerseys that make me look like an over-stuffed sausage... Or they have MTB jerseys without any pockets.

If you're on a budget, check out http://www.aevero.com. Very limited selection of jersey designs and colors, but the price is very good, and the quality is right up there. They throw in "freebie" stuff, too, but the quality of the freebies isn't as good.

If you have access to an MEC outlet, they carry a selection of affordable cycling jerseies. They are fairly plain but I don't like looking like a rolling billboard anyway.

I just bought some nice light weight jerseys on Nashbar, XXL....not too tight, not too loose.

I'm able to find jerseys that fit but I have to say, like wrk101 I have gotten into the fitness tops sold by places like Target. They are inexpensive ($15) liteweight, wicks sweat, and washes well (wash cold, hang to dry, ready to go in an hour). I use them for hiking, walking, the gym and mountain biking but I don't see why they can't be used to road ride as well. Who needs to spend $90 on a loud, too bright cycling jersey?!?!?
