Anyone tried the MKE cogs? They look decent, made in the U.S. machined, etc.
It's between these and a dura ace.
thanks.
i hear they're not bad but that dura ace are better and cheaper.

why better? they ain't got no heart. milwaukee's are made right here in milwaukee with high standards.
yeah those heartless japanese workers. so different from milwaukee workers.
honestly i doubt there's much difference.

I just really want a Milwaukee Bicycle Co. part on my bike so I went ahead and got one. Sorry Japan[I'm still wearing Sugino cranks though].
well that's awesome,
but if there's one milwaukee part to put on your bike it's the crusher.

The very fact that Milwaukee even makes that junk is enough to steer me away from one of their cogs.
Dura-Ace forever.

Aside from the pretty slick look of a dura-ace cog is there really any advantage to X cog over Y cog... seriously? I had an EAI cog for a while and it looks dope compared to my current Surly piece of ****, but they both function the exact same way. Can't see anyone busting a cog in half either, or breaking teeth off.
Do they wear down to little reptaur nublet teeth or something?
yeah with enough use. most of use haven't been riding long enough to go through a surly or soma or even something stamped.
