Singlespeed & Fixed Gear - The Feed Project - High Design Urban Bike Advocacy

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Apologies if this has been posted, but I just learned about the Feed Cycling Project (http://www.hyrcollective.com/daily-blog/tags/poster/) by Nabiis, in Taipei, Taiwan. Beautifully photographed bike components on huge posters wheat pasted all over the city. Check it out on Flikr (http://www.flickr.com/photos/nabiis/sets/72157605248121737/).

A few teasers:

You think they could find a way to be a little more informative with their posters. I'm all for minimalism, but it only works if you remember to keep function > form. Some of these posters are of things that people aren't going to recognize unless they're already into bikes, and they aren't trying to reach people that already bike. Maybe I'm missing the point, but it doesn't make sense to me.
