Velomax Circuit, please no comments about the stem, next thing to go is that miserable triple.

Here's mine. i was this close (holding my fingers really close together) to buying the velomax wheels. I have since added a Dura Ace rear derailleur.

temp, have you ridden on those wheels yet? I'm interested in a pair, but I've heard mixed reviews (with the bad stuff coming from my LBS who sells them).

I have put 70 miles on them since I got them, they came perfectally true, the hubs are fantastic, and they offer great $s per pound ratio. They have transformed my bike, it rolls smoother, and is more eger to accelerate, they are at least as stiff as the old Gipemmies that came from the factory, which was their only attribute, I have to hit some hills to evaluate them some more, I love them so far. What negatives have you heard? I have heard none. I think people are biased because they were developed for Schwinn (not sexy).

Djbowen, I love the looks of those rims, I love the frame, I got a good deal on these (new) on ebay, couldn't pass it up, sweet ride!

Temp1, Ditch those cranks and you will notice a big difference. Are those Speedplays you are using? Zero's or X series?

I think i saw those on ebay did the guy charge you for skewers or did they come with them?

Those are Bebops, lite, cheap, tough, and impervious to grit. I am saving up for a FSA energy double, if I fall backwards into some $ I'll up it to CF cranks. Those are the skewers from the tecno's.

So much to change with the triple to double so i didnt bother, i figured it wasnt doing any harm. My next will be a double.

Is that a Truvative Elita crankset? It is also on my short list. The crank set seems to be the last glaring weak spot on this bike, can't wait to get it done, I'm going to slowly collect the parts necessary to switch to a double, it will be a while I am sure.

Here's what i did:
Ultegra Brakes
Ultegra Cranks & BB
Selle Italia Seat
Dura Ace rear der
Ultegra front der (on backorder)
Ksyrium wheels
Syntace F99 stem (not on in pic)
I want to get a set of waterbottle cages like yours soon,
and a set of Ultegra or Dura Ace shifters. I want to go Dura Ace 10 speed but i will wait until it drops in price.

Pinky-

I got my Spinergy wheels at Belmont WheelWorks. I like them a lot- light, strong, and relatively inexpensive for the performance gains over my old hoops.

demon-you mean the Xaero's they have on sale for 400? I saw those but I haven't heard too many good things about them, and the thing is if I buy the Velomax's I get free tubes, tires and tape. You race on the spinergy's?
