Hi,
I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the SI 90 HR/cycle computer. I installed the unit on the stem, but I can't remove it from the mounting bracket once it's snapped into place. Other than this, the quality and finish seems fine so far.
Thanks for all feedback.
Cheers

I use a separate HRM and computer. I do this for several reasons. 1. I use the HRM in my Spinning classes too. 2. If the HRM is on the bike, and you walk away, like at waterstops of organized centuries, charity weekends, etc, you have to restart it when you get back to the bike. 3. If one breaks, you still have the other. Just my opinion, of course.
I don't have the SI-90 mbut have a SI-ECG5 HRM. Excellent product.

The instructions tell how to mount it to the handlebar. How did you mount it on the stem?
Have you contacted SI about the problem? info@sportsinstruments.com

The product came with an optional stem mounting bracket. The computer mount snaps into that instead of the handle bar bracket. The stem bracket attaches to the stem with 2 zip ties, but there is no way to take the computer off the bracket. I wrote 4 emails to Sports Instrument, but I had not received a reply. There is no other way to contact that company, so I guess I just have to live with not being able to switch computer between my 2 bikes.
