I kicked out of the drive at 10:00 AM. Rode through the Village, along the canals and the bay. Crossed over the Indland Waterway and turned onto Ft. Pickens Road - the Inland waterway was on the right and the Gulf on the left for 10 miles- The water was truquoise and had just a few ripples - I stopped at the Fort and watched a twin tailed F-18 manuver into the landing approach at the Naval Air Station. I quickly downed a Cliff Bar and rode back alont the beach road to Opal Beach 27 miles into the 12/15 MPH wind. Another bar consumed and and the final 30 miles home. 67.7 miles total. I always ride my age on my birthday.

Sweeet. I ride Ft. Pickens to Navarra all the time when I come home from school.
