Hi all,

I'm seriously considering going back to SS but since the only SS I've ever had has been the cruiser type I don't really know what to look for in something that would be for commuting and would also be speedier and have a decent gear ratio for hill climbs. Where I live is relatively flat but there are a few decent sized hills. I'm thinking of eventually going with Deep V's and Armadillo's for the wheels but as far as frame, handle bar, gear teeth, etc. I'm pretty lost. Any advice? Brand suggestions? Thanks!

If you really have lots of hills, then consider single speed or a 1x9 setup.
