Southern California - August 4,2008 The Cycling Community Lost a Warrior, but gained an Angel

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Joe Schraff May 23, 1970 – August 4, 2008

Joe Schraff was a dedicated husband, son, brother, and friend. We will miss his infectious laugh and smile. Joe worked for the Jax Huntington Beach location for many years and became friends with everyone he met. Joe made lasting impressions and impacted many people’s lives in so many ways. His determination to fight his battle with cancer was uplifting and strengthening. It is Joe’s courage that will keep us strong during this hard time.

Joe’s Family would be honored if you attended.

As you know Joe was an avid cyclist. His beautiful wife Vennice and the family requests donations in lieu of flowers to http://www.calparks.org/donations/ The California State Park Foundation funds and supports trail maintenance and keeping the trails open. We at Jax are greatly saddened to have lost such a great friend and family member.

I will miss Joe. He taught me so much and I am sorry to have not gotten to know him more. He meant alot to my coworkers and I, and to many cyclists in the Huntington Beach Community. If you knew Joe at all, you are invited to come join us at the above location. His family would be honored to see the people's lives he touched.
