I'll be in lenoir city, a bit south of knoxville for the next week. Can anyone recommend any local group rides or routes?

I was looking for a group ride (20+ mph) over the weekend but I went to the smokies and did the cades cove loop a couple of times on Saturday instead. I did find a ride out of Cedar Bluff Cycles on Tuesday evening that I am going to try to do - know anything about it? I am also going to try to get out to the foothills parkway as well.

Otherwise if you know of anything I would appreciate any ideas. I'll be leaving town on Friday morning so anything for next weekend is out.

You might also check and see if West Cycles (http://www.westbicycles.com/) (Farragut) has any rides scheduled.

sounds like you already know about everything i was gonna suggest. Ive never done one of the cbc rides but i hear at least the "a" ride is pretty fast.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I will end up doing the CBC ride on Tuesday or Thursday and try to squeeze in the Foothills parkway one day this week as well.
