How easy is it to spin your hub motor wheel? How many times does it spin on its own without battery power, when you give it a good spin with your hand? Is 2 spins bad? A lot of motor drag, or are the bolts just on too tight?

It's the cogging effect you see and is inherent in permanent magnet based motors. I had the same concern too with my hub motors, but discovered that it's normal.

I occasionally turn my Bionx PL350 motor off and don't really notice much drag if any. Perhaps I'm getting fitter?
