Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. There are 3 Dr.s in our cycling club. I think we are a small club. Check a club or bike shop. Maybe they can recommend a cyclist Doctor. Possibly someone who has even gone to him/her.
When I hurt my shoulder. I went to a Ortho Surgon who was listed in the "Sports Medicine". He new nothing about cycling.
Good Luck

A good sports medicene doctor should be able to treat your knee. The important thing is a GOOD doctor. My riding buddy's doc told him to quit cycling for all the stupid bravo serria sterotypes we all hear and deal with.

The sports doctor i went to for a broken wrist was an avid cyclist but didnt know anything about injuries and stuff like that.

You need to find one that does. Find a doc that deals with cyclists, and our injuries. They are out there, and worth the extra time/$$. You only have one body.
Good luck!

Fortunatly for me my Family Doctor is a cyclist.
you have probably found this link already but it helped me. http://www.cptips.com/knee.htm
Also when you do your doctor shopping ask to talk to the doc's chief nurse. the nurse will have a far better idea if he/she actually deals with cyclist knees very often.
