I picked up an older Bianchi from a friend recently. He bought it in about 1986. He doesn't remember the exact year and he doesn't remember the model. Because of an injury many years ago he has not ridden the bike for over 10 years. I have now cleaned it up and it is mint. It is in fabulous condition with Dura Ace components. It's really a beautiful bike.
My question is this: How do I learn more about this bike? I have replaced the cable housing and bar tape with the original Celeste colors. The saddle and water bottles are original Celeste too. Is there a website that specializes in Bianchi older bikes? Where would I get original parts? Did they make Celeste water bottle cages etc.? I really like this bike and want to make sure it is really original in all ways. Any help you can give me would be greatly apprciated.
